Endau Bay runs a processing plant in Mersing that buys from the town's fishing fleet and from landing points further up Johor's east coast at Endau. Catch is graded, cleaned and frozen within hours of landing. The main lines are peeled prawns, squid rings and tubes, and fillets or steaks of kurau, siakap and tenggiri for frying, grilling and asam pedas.
