Frozen prawns, fish fillets and squid processed in Sandakan from local landings, for restaurants and caterers in Sabah and beyond.
Teluk Sandakan buys from boats landing at the Sandakan fish market and processes in a small plant near the town. Prawns are graded and packed peeled or shell-on, and fish such as threadfin, red snapper and grouper are filleted, portioned and individually quick-frozen.
Most volume goes to seafood restaurants and hotels in Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan, with smaller orders shipped to Peninsular buyers by arrangement. Sizes and cuts can be adjusted for regular customers, for example 150 g portions for set meals. Pricing follows the catch and is updated weekly.
Why kitchens choose Teluk Sandakan Frozen Seafood
- Bought from Sandakan landings and frozen the same day
