Soon Lian makes contract furniture at a factory in Bakri, Muar, with a showroom on site. The range is aimed at high-turnover dining: powder-coated steel chairs, rubberwood chairs, stackable banquet chairs, cast-iron table bases and table tops in laminate, compact board or rubberwood.
Most buyers are restaurant chains, food court operators and banquet caterers ordering 100 pieces or more, though smaller orders are taken from ready stock. Deliveries go out on the factory's own lorries to the southern states and the Klang Valley, and by freight forwarder to East Malaysia.
