Wah Kheng Melamine Works

Wah Kheng is a second-generation melamine factory in Klang that presses plates, noodle bowls, soup spoons, trays and condiment dishes on its own moulds. The heavy, chip-resistant ware is made for hawker stalls, food courts, kopitiams and canteens where porcelain breaks too often.

Standard colours are white, light green, cream and classic patterned rims, and stall owners can order small quantities from the factory shop. Food courts and chains can have plates marked with an outlet code on the underside to track loss between stalls. Lorry delivery covers the Klang Valley weekly.
