Rattan and cane chairs, bar stools and pendant shades made by hand in Jasin for cafés, resorts and boutique hotels.
A family workshop of eight weavers in Jasin that has made rattan furniture since the late 1980s. Most work now goes to cafés and resorts wanting rattan dining chairs, bar stools, room dividers and pendant lamp shades. Frames are steamed and bent on site from rattan bought from suppliers in Pahang and Sarawak.
Standard designs come in natural, honey or dark walnut finish, and the workshop will copy a reference photo for orders of 20 pieces or more. Outstation orders are wrapped and sent by lorry freight; delivery to the Klang Valley is weekly.
Why kitchens choose Rotan Jasin Craft Works
- Copies a reference design from 20 pieces
- Weekly lorry run to the Klang Valley
- Re-weaving service for worn chair seats
