Kong Hing is a second-generation workshop off Jalan Kapar in Klang with eight fabricators. It builds wok ranges, noodle boilers, roasting ovens and steamer cabinets to order, mostly for zi char stalls, noodle hawkers and Chinese restaurants.
Each range is built around the customer's burners, gas supply and space, and water-cooled tops are available for busy kitchens. New builds usually take two to three weeks. The workshop also re-tops old ranges and replaces burners, which many hawkers prefer to buying new. Installation within the Klang Valley is included in the price.
