Corak Batik Workshop

Kota Bharu, KelantanNo reviews yet

Hand-drawn and block-printed batik napkins, table runners and placemats made in Kota Bharu for hotels and Malay restaurants.

Corak Batik is a small workshop in Kampung Penambang, Kota Bharu, with six artisans working in canting and block-printing. Besides sarongs for the local market, it makes napkins, table runners, placemats and tray cloths for hotels, heritage restaurants and wedding planners who want local textiles on the table.

Fabric is pre-washed cotton, dyed with colourfast dyes so pieces survive commercial laundering. Buyers can choose from existing motifs or commission a pattern in their own colours. Orders are sent by courier nationwide, and the workshop can also sew matching batik aprons for floor staff.

Why kitchens choose Corak Batik Workshop

  • Pre-washed cotton made to stand up to hotel laundering
  • Custom motifs in your own colours from 50 pieces
  • Matching batik aprons for floor staff
